Holy wow. I don’t even know how to blog about this. Best party I have ever been to in my entire life.
How amazing is the idea of a masquerade party at Fashion Week? Fashion Week is all about who you are and what you do, so to have all these incredible people walking around with masks on so no one knows who is who? Awesome. I forgot to take a mask with me to Sydney, so I decided to get creative and use the new Maybelline lipstick I got in a goodie bag – I got compliments all night so hopefully that means I did a halfway decent job!
An entire floor of the Sir Stamford hotel was for guests, the main room had trays of Amaro/Skyy Vodka cocktails and Canadian Club and trays of delicious canapes, the DJ booth, and lavish couches for guests to sit on. Each of the eight rooms was for a different purpose: one was for Skyy vodka espresso martinis (ambient music and blue lighting), one for Amaro, one for Canadian Club (complete with chaise lounges), one for GHD, one for Pentax (you could get photos on Royalty Prussia thrones and there was also a bed if you wanted a nap… or something), one for Maybelline, and the other rooms were just open for sitting and whatever else I guess. With a star-studded guest list, I’m still not quite sure how I got an invite! I’m so glad I did though; this was one of the best nights of my life.
I didn’t take my camera with me (I don’t really know why…) so the only photos I have to offer are instagrams. Once again, visit OhJamie, because his photos from this party are just amazing.
